Pastor Mark writes about a second list of spiritual gifts he calls “functional gifts” in Romans 12:6-8. How are these spiritual gifts different from the “Manifestation gifts” in 1 Cor. 12? (page 59 and 60)
Read Pastor Mark’s description of these gifts on pages 61-63. Do any of these gifts ring a bell in your own life? How does a person release or operate in these functional gifts? (page 64)
In chapter 6, Growing in Spiritual Discernment, Pastor Mark points out that just as Eve was deceived, it is possible for careless Christians to be led astray. What is the 3 step process still being used by Satan today? (pages 76-78) What are the two basic types of religion in the world? (page 78, 79) what are questions we can ask in discerning the Holy Spirit from counterfeits? (Pages 84-86)
