by on March 14, 2021

In the sermon, Pastor Mike Van Meter help us discard some of the common misconceptions Christians have about “blessing”. He explained that blessing is mostly relational and primarily comes to us through authority. In this lesson we will dig deeper into the difference between blessing and happiness. We will see that focusing on your personal happiness and trying to achieve it is destined for failure. Then we’ll see that cooperating with God’s plan to bless us is the only reality-based path for a fulfilled and meaningful life, both in this life and in the next.

Read 1 Thessalonians 4:1. Whose pleasure did the apostles’ instructions focus on?
