Pastor Dave taught on “Living Wisely in 2020”. He explained that wisdom is “the ability to practically apply biblical knowledge”. In this lesson we’ll dig deeper to identify the main impediments that prevent Christians from becoming truly wise so they can enjoy the blessing and avoid the destructive bane of foolishness and ignorance.
Read James 1:5-8. In the passage James makes it clear that God is generous with his wisdom. And that you don’t get in trouble with God if you are lacking wisdom that you probably should already have! But God does not offer His wisdom to just anybody. What is the deal breaker and why do you suppose that should be a problem?
Read Deuteronomy 4:5-7. How did Moses explain that the people of God were to gain wisdom and understanding? It that still true for our modern era?
