In the sermon, Pastor Jim taught that even though unrest and disorder have multiplied in our land- Christians can have confidence because it is occurring as God told us and the shaking is for God’s redemptive purposes and according to His plan.
Read Acts 4:23-31. Here the political and religious leaders had decided that the disciples were a threat to public order and right thinking. What did the disciples do about their threats? Does this give us an action plan in regards the threats Christians are facing in our society today?
One of the points in the sermon was: “Jesus Christ expresses His Lordship over the earth by blessing those who obey Him, and by judging those who won’t.” Can you think of any instance where you’ve personally observed this principle in action?
