Becoming A Person of Influence

by Foothills Church on December 08, 2019

In the Sermon, Pastor Mark taught about becoming a person of influence from Moses’ experiences in Exodus 4.

Reread Exodus 4:1:5. Pastor Mark said: Probably the last thing Moses wanted to do was to go back and pick up that snake. But Moses validation would be in defeating a problem he was afraid of.  Part of your credibility will come from facing your fears/overcoming large problems. Fear is often a feature of life without Christ. And people in our culture feel they have a lot of problems. Come to home group prepared to an area of your life that used to cause you anxiety or fear; then tell how you got help through Jesus.

Reread Exodus 4:6- 8. Pastor Mark pointed out: When Moses drew his hand out 2nd time it was cleansed. Moses’s sins were forgiven/life transformed. Part of our credibility comes from the testimony of a transformed life. Come to home group ready to discuss:  How has God transformed your life? What problems/sins has God delivered you from? Did you ever try hard and fail? Was there an area of defeat in your life that Christ gave you victory in? Do you suppose God gave you that victory for the sole purpose of making your life happier?
