Words Do Something
September 13, 2026 | Neil Hoffman
Pastor Neil establishes that God himself is identified in Scripture as the God of all comfort and encouragement, while the enemy is identified as the accuser. Drawing on neuroscience, personal experience, and biblical teaching, the sermon makes the case that encouragement is one of the most powerful tools God has given believers -- not only to receive, but to actively give to others. The pastor challenges the congregation to examine whose voice they are listening to, and to become intentional encouragers who help pull out what God has already placed inside the people around them.
