When Storms Arise

Pastor Mark emphasizes that difficulty does not indicate disobedience, that God reveals himself in the midst of trials, and that his word is sufficient assurance for any challenge. Using historical examples ranging from 9/11 to the Jesus Movement of the 1960s, Pastor Mark calls believers to maintain a kingdom-focused perspective, take responsibility for what they fill their minds with, and trust in the faithfulness of God to bring them to the other shore. The central theological conviction is that when Jesus declares an outcome, that outcome is never in doubt -- only the timing and circumstances of the journey remain in his hands.
