Together Again

by on April 21, 2020

We are a family that is always on the go. Whether it's soccer, church events, coaching events, or something else, we normally only had 1-2 days a week at home. We hardly ever had a sit-down dinner, and I had not cooked at home in months. Don't get me wrong, we ate together (fast food) most of the time on the go, but it isn't quite the same.

This "reset" has disrupted our normal routine, but it has been a blessing to my family. We have been forced to stop, be still, and spend time together with no outside activity. I have been cooking every night, we are eating dinner at the table as a family, and we spend uninterrupted time together. We are learning to slow down and connect. We have had God conversations, watched the devotionals together, and mostly everyone in the house is watching the Saturday night service together!
