Are you in search of something,
but uncertain about what it might be?
Do you find yourself craving something,
yet nothing seems to satisfy your hunger?
Are you yearning for peace, love, and hope,
but unable to find it in anyone or anything?
The reality is that you are seeking God.
All of humanity has been separated from God, and He is actively and eagerly searching for you. The tugging on your heart is His hand reaching out to you; the sighs and frustrations you experience are prayers that only He comprehends and hears.
God is deeply invested in re-establishing a relationship with you. He went to the extent of sending Jesus (Himself in human form) to demonstrate the depth of His love. Jesus sacrificed His life for us, ensuring that we need not face eternal death. He rose again after three days, securing our opportunity to live forever.
Perhaps you've encountered this message before, perhaps during your childhood in a church setting, maybe during an Easter or Christmas service. But have you actively sought to understand it? God invites you to explore, to question whether Jesus was a liar, a lunatic, or indeed the Lord God. Now is the moment to do so, to seek Him out. As He said, "Knock, and the door will be opened to you; seek, and you will find."
To follow Christ is to acknowledge your imperfections, recognizing the need for a savior from your sins, and inviting Him to dwell within you, restoring the relationship for which you were created.
Come now, while it is still today. Pray to God for forgiveness and invite Him to live inside you!
