Those of us who have served (military and first responders) have seen some of the darker sides of life. Those experiences have a way of sticking with us: sleep problems, anger, and dark thoughts. Fortunately, Jesus promised us rest for our souls. In Matthew 11:28 he said "come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest."
