There are a variety of different ministries and opportunities for the women of Foothills to serve. If you have the time and desire to serve, we can use your help!  Below are a handful of opportunities available for you to serve.

Childcare for MomEase

MomEase meets 9-11am the last Tuesday of every month. It’s a ministry geared specifically towards moms of pre-school aged children. So, naturally every woman that attends has at least one child that needs to be watched. That’s a lot of kids!

We are in desperate need of childcare workers for these two monthly meetings, are you available?  The children range from ages 0-5, are so cute and go home after 2 hours…you can handle that!

Whether you are young and love to play with kids or are a mother of older kids that needs a baby fix, we would appreciate your help!

2017 dates: May 30, July 25, Aug 29, Sept 26, Oct 31, Nov 28

Help with Quarterly Shop N Swap

The Shop N Swap is a quarterly event where TONS of donated children’s and women’s clothing is “swapped” by women attending. The motto is “Bring what you can, take what you need”. Fortunately, there is a lot of clothing donated, but it needs to be sorted and prepped for the clothing exchange. Would you be willing to help sort clothes at this quarterly event? We can’t do it without your help!

Next event is July 25, 2017

After School Bible Clubs

We have after school Bible clubs on dozens of campuses all around East County.  At these clubs we offer students a snack, have an activity and ALWAYS include a Bible study.

There are clubs every day of the week on campuses all over East County. If you are available in the afternoon, we would love to have you on our team!

Junior High and High School Small Groups

Our youth ministry is broken down into small groups by grade and gender. Junior High (6th-8th grade) girls small groups all meet on Friday nights. High School (9th-12th grade) small groups meet several different nights of the week. Monday – Friday, you are sure to find a group to serve in.

Middle Eastern Women's Luncheon

We will not be hosting the annual Middle Eastern Women’s Luncheon this year. For more information on Last Harvest Arabic Church, please contact MAHABBA JERJES 619-749-1485

Last Harvest Arabic Church is pastored by Pastor David Joseph. Services are held Saturday evenings at 7pm and Sunday afternoons at 12:30pm here on the Foothills Christian Church campus. The services are in Arabic and broadcast internationally.

We believe God has placed us in El Cajon to minister to the city. With that mission in mind, we are so pleased to host Last Harvest and partner with Pastor David Joseph in reaching El Cajon for Christ and preaching the Gospel to the Middle Eastern community.
