Read Luke 8: 4-15 in this teaching we have Jesus’ explanation on why some people fall away from the faith (vs.13). Have you ever seen this happen to someone?
Read Hebrews 12:12-13. What is the root condition of the heart when someone falls away from God? What causes a heart to grow hard?
Read James 5:19-20. This passage lets us know that rescuing a prodigal is a very great thing in God’s eyes. Have you ever “turned a sinner from the error of his ways”? Did someone do that for you? Come to home group prepared to tell your story.
