Get A Job
GET A JOB is an 8 week workshop geared toward training young people between the ages of 16 and 19 to create a resume, fill out job applications, dress for and present themselves successfully in an interview and many other skills necessary to get a job.
What you’ll learn in the workshop:
· The secrets of a successful job-hunt
· How to get an edge and get the interview
· How to make the most of your interview
· The top five things every boss wants you to know (but might not tell you!)
This workshop is comprised of 4 Saturday morning classroom sessions in which students learn practical ways to increase their chances of being hired, and 4 one-hour weekly meetings with a career coach.
Saturday classes are March 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 9:00-11:00am in Room A1 at Foothills.
To participate in the workshop you must download and complete the STUDENT APPLICATION* and submit it to the Foothills Office by February 14th. Successful candidates will be notified of their acceptance after completing the screening process.
