What Is Worship?

We believe that God is GREAT and He deserves the love and affection of the people He has created! Worship is giving to God praise, love, honor and adoration for who He is and what He has done. One of the ways we worship God is to sing to him. The Bible teaches us that God loves it when we sing to Him, and He responds by joining with those that are worshipping him (Psalm 22:3). 

Because we love to have the presence of God at Foothills we devote a significant amount of time at our weekend services, at our home groups, and our children and youth gatherings in worshipping Him. 

At our weekend services our worship ‘style’ is contemporary, with a definite rock and roll feel. The songs we sing are scripturally sound; we want the truths of who God is to be represented in the songs we sing. Worship is all about Him! We try to select songs that are singable and easy to catch on to so that even our visitors can join in easily. The lyrics for the songs we sing to God are displayed on screens on both sides of the stage and on television screens placed throughout the sanctuary.
