2012 Women's Retreat

It's a New Year with new challenges, fears, hopes and victories. As you contemplate how you are going to live it, the Foothills Women's Retreat will concentrate on helping you learn how to recognize God's dealings in your life already, and how to hear and see more clearly.
There will be times of:
- Extended worship
- Interactive stations (like at our Good Friday Service..or the High Schooi"Approach"
- Testimonies galore
- Directed times of solitude
- Family/Cabin times
We will examine some of life's profound questions, like:
- Why does He feel so far away sometimes?
- What can I do to make Him nearer to me?
- Some people just seem to exude joy and confidence with God...what's their secret?
- How do we find him when our lives are so busy that quiet time is virtually
impossible? - Why do some people say,"God told me...," so much?
- How can I receive things from Him like some others seem to do so easily?
- I would like to hear God better, but I am at a loss of how to make that happen. What do I say to Him? I sometimes feel so bored in prayer.
Our goal and great hope for you at this year's retreat is that you will really experience His nearness, tender love, and direction.
Many of the women who attend will tell stories of their struggles to understand what God is doing and how they heard what He wanted to do with them and those they love. This practical approach will help you understand and know God better.
We want to teach you how to practice being in God's presence! We also want to help you learn what it means to walk in the spirit, and to look for new ways of interacting with Him and recognizing Him in new ways and places.
We have stories to tell you that will excite you and give you confidence. You won't do a lot of sitting and listening. Instead you will be moving and practicing His Presence!
