Welcome Team

The Welcome Team is a vital ministry at Foothills.  These folks have the first contact with visitors to our church.  The team consists of parking assistants, greeters at the doors, the information booth staff where questions can be answered, the ushers who help people find seats and insure that the service is orderly,  the visitors booth staff where first time guests go to get additional questions answered plus a gift for visiting, and the phone follow up team who calls each visitor of Foothills to welcome them, answer any questions, and pray for them.   

Although being a part of the Welcome Team does not require a great time commitment,  it is vital to the operation of every church service, and to ensure that folks coming to the church, especially our visitors, feel welcomed and valued.  We are always looking for friendly folks who want to extend their hand in warmth and kindness to bring the love of Jesus into the lives of others.  Anyone wanting to join this team should write “Welcome Team” and the time of the service they normally attend on a communication card that is distributed with the weekly bulletin.  We’ll be happy to help you find the right place for you.
