Mexico Mission Trip 2017:
We are excited to announce our annual mission trip for this Easter Break, and we are returning to Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico to work with the same pastors who we have known and worked closely with for over 10 years! (Formerly in San Quintin) They pastor a church in an area of Ensenada (approx. 1.5hrs south of border) called Colonia 89. Foothills has sent down a team every month to minister to and connect with them for the last 9 years! We are very familiar with the area and the people. We want to give as much information as possible and address any and all concerns with the trip so below are the things to remember.
Don’t want to register online? No problem! Download this: Permission slip then fill it out and turn it into the youth department, or bring it on the day you leave for Mexico.

What to Bring:
-Travel Documents: Passports are NOT required for this type of trip, but you MUST bring a copy of your birth certificate AND photo ID (school IDs are ok, if you do not have an ID try to buy or reissue a school one!)
Mandatory Pre-Trip Preparation:
All Missionaries must attend ONE of the following classes:
– Sunday April 2nd 1pm-2:30pm (in church multi-purpose room)
– Friday April 7th 3:30pm-5:00pm (in church room A-1)
– Food Sale #1 Saturday and Sunday Services weekend of March 18 & 19
– Food Sale #2 Saturday and Sunday Services weekend of March 25 & 26
This is to cover gas, campsite, food, drinks, and supplies for our outreaches and ministry
Sunday March 12th at 12:30pm in Room A-2 at Foothills Christian Church, or Tuesday March 14th at 7pm in the multi-purpose room at Foothills Christian Church.
These meetings are not mandatory for parents but are informational meetings concerning the trip and to address any and all questions and concerns parents may have. If you are unsure of how a trip like this works or have questions please come and let us address these.
