In the sermon, Pastor Mike explained that it’s what you DO with your miracle that matters. In this lesson we’ll see that the Bible is full of instructions to “remember” the works of God and His blessings to us and that remembering again God’s blessings in your life puts you under the power of those events and refreshes/reinforces their effect.
Read Deuteronomy 24:21-22. The Lord required His people to leave some of the crops in their field for the poor to gather. What was the reason He gave? Why do you suppose it’s important to regularly remind yourself of what God delivered you from?
Read 2 Peter 3:1-2. Here, Peter insists they “remember” the commandments of the Lord. This is a common injunction in the Bible. Why do you think God’s people must regularly remind themselves of His commandments?
